A Comic Review: The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite

Hello people!

Alice is here to bring you her first ever…COMIC REVIEW!!!!!

I’m not normally into american done comics, but, since I love Gerard so much, I checked out his comic book series “The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite”.

I was pleasantly surprised. It’s very different from some of the american comics that I’ve tried to read in the past.

The story is dark but has humourous elements and the character designs areĀ  really very fresh from the comics I normally see. I don’t normally go for the american side of comics mostly because there haven’t been any art styles that have really caught my attention. Which is why I love The Umbrella Academy so much. The style is incredibly different and it stands out from the crowd.

I’m not just saying that Gerard did a good job just because I love his band. I really enjoyed this comic and I can’t wait to add it to my collection of favorite books to have on my shelf.

I want to make a image to convey my rating system….I should work on that today…

Until then you’ll have to make do with a random small pic of Gee or something. Sorry guys. Look forward to it though!
