So I’ve been puttin off writing this review mostly because I haven’t been feeling the greatest.

I’m feeling much better this morning however, so I suppose I should get on with it, if at least for the sake of my blog.

I went to the library recently and got a stack of books to read. It’s been awhile since I had anything, and I’ve been going through a withdrawal of sorts.

The first book I managed to read was GhostGirl.

I’ve had my eye on it everytime I walked though Super Walmarts book section, and was rather taken with the cover of it.

Being the picky reader that I am, however, prevented me from outright buying the book right there.

So, to the trusty, revered Public Library I went.

I wonder if you’re incredibly aware of the saying, “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.” am I right?

Well, normally I follow this rule not just with books but with just about anything the world has to offer one self.

I made a rather large freakin error with this book because I ignored that cute little quote.

So, Comicon has gone and past.

I didn’t get to go….but if I had, I would have definetly gone to Gerard Way’s panel.

He was answering questions about his comic series Umbrella Academy.

Lucky for me, someone took video of the whole panel from start to finish and uploaded it to youtube.

I was a little disappointed when I realized that there were a couple of questions that should have been asked and weren’t.

Okay, no one out there probly cares about this, but, I have a small bust line.

To put it simply, I’ve had problems with other people mainly because of my slim figure.

However, my personal problem has been with my small, barely there bust.

Recently, I’ve filled out a bit more but I have a problem with being uneven….noticeably so.

I have been doing a good job of just blowing off these little insecurties, but….

I’ve been working on witty designs for various reasons, one of them being for my grandfathers tire cover bussiness.

Ok well, it’s been awhile but I’m back!!!!

I was sick with a cold thing. It was sucking andy kind of life from my body like a void of idiocy.

I should draw a face to put here to express just how annoying it was. (@ ~ @) <–this lame emote will be a stand in.

So I figure since I’m supre mucho hungry right now, you’ll have to wait for a serious review or anything like that.

Instead, I decided that I should show you some things that I’ve found on the internet.

Only my favorites cuz I have ALOOOOT of stuff…I’m a hoarder of internet stuff. (~ n ~;)

Hello people!

Alice is here to bring you her first ever…COMIC REVIEW!!!!!

I’m not normally into american done comics, but, since I love Gerard so much, I checked out his comic book series “The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite”.

I was pleasantly surprised. It’s very different from some of the american comics that I’ve tried to read in the past.

The story is dark but has humourous elements and the character designs are  really very fresh from the comics I normally see. I don’t normally go for the american side of comics mostly because there haven’t been any art styles that have really caught my attention. Which is why I love The Umbrella Academy so much. The style is incredibly different and it stands out from the crowd.

I’m not just saying that Gerard did a good job just because I love his band. I really enjoyed this comic and I can’t wait to add it to my collection of favorite books to have on my shelf.

I want to make a image to convey my rating system….I should work on that today…

Until then you’ll have to make do with a random small pic of Gee or something. Sorry guys. Look forward to it though!

Well, some one left me a comment wanting to know if I would be blogging about this. I decided I should state my feeling about this.

I am rather tired of hearing people say all of theses things about  him now that hes gone. I’ve heard both sides. People that are glad that hes gone, which is sick. How do they know that he really did things to children or not?  Since, we weren’t involved in the case we shouldn’t pass judgement when we honestly don’t know for sure. It’s not our place to do that. Then, there are the people who are only saying nice things about him after he’s gone.hose people are such hypocrites. It makes me angry to see theses people lie just so they can hear there own voice and try and seem like they are capable of being sympathetic to others.

Anyways, I’ve been just sick about it. That’s not even the worst though… what might be slighty amusing i suppose you could say would be all the people saying that he died of strange and obscure causes that really are quite impossible. Some are indeed amusing while others make me sick to my stomach.

Been watching a new anime and also reading the same manga.

It’s definitely interesting. I’ve never seen anything like this before in anime and it wasn’t what I was expecting when I read that it was a Yuri kind of anime. Yuri is a girl/girl romance.
I don’t normally go after yuri’s but this one caught my eye, and I said what the heck.

So I’m watching it and on the first episode I am pleasantly surprised. The chick, Mariya Shidou, is not a chick but a boy that crossdresses. Yeah… I know…why would I find this pleasantly surprising?  It came about in such an amusing way, that I couldn’t help but fall in love with the anime after watching it.  Don’t ask me why…but I also fell in love with Mariya… xD A boy that crossdresses as a girl and has a sadistic streak…wow…who would have thought.

Anyway…Its good. If you stick with it, it gets better and better. The anime sticks to the manga closely as far as I can tell.

I’m on chapter..uh..I think 14..I’m waiting for the next chapter to come out. I’m not going to spoil things for you…just go watch it and let me know what you think. I’d love to hear your own opinions.. I’m a little weird so what I feel is different from what alot of others. xD
