What is up people?!
I know its been a bit since I did a non-poetry post so I thought I would do a spotlight on some amv’s I’ve scoured youtube for.
You all should know that I only share the best ones I can find.
You won’t find picture slideshows here people.
Amv’s are meant to move you in some way.
Whether you laugh, cry, throw your fist in the air, or get those romantic goosebumps and heart doki’s, if it makes you feel something then it’s done right.
However, this is not the only qualification.
Alot of the time I look for something edited in a way where I feel sucked into the video. It can be hard to explain to others, but I assure once you see some of these videos, you’ll be one step closer to understanding what I mean.
So without further to do, here’s the first ever, AMV Spotlight!!!!
First off we have a Full Metal Alchemist amv with music by 30 Seconds to Mars. This song, “This is War” fits really well with this anime and the titles given to different characters really makes sense. Even if you’ve never watched FMA you’ll still be able to understand whats going on and it might even help to get people into trying it out.
Our second video is a Eureka Seven amv with music from the beloved Miku Hatsune. This is a interesting mash up and also I would recommend that you turn your volume down before starting and easing it up as its playing because its gets very fast paced and kind of loud. I suppose to some this video might be weird but for me this video makes sense. Somehow. xD Anyways, it might be nice if you left a comment on your thoughts about this video..maybe I’m not the only who feels this video is beautiful in a strange way?
Our Third and last amv for this episode is a beautiful Princess Tutu amv with music Mecano. It’s in a language I don’t reconize but it fits wonderfully. It feels like an old fairytale. The song is called Hijo de la Luna. I love this anime because there really aren’t very many ballet anime’s and the story and art is just lovely. I guess I’m kind of a sucker for this kind of stuff. Any one else have a secret love of ballet or princess tutu or both? Leave me a comment telling me about what draw you to it.
Well this concludes our first ever AMV Spotlight.
I hope you enjoyed these amv’s just as much as I have.
If you have any hidden gems of your own that you wish people knew about leave me a link and I might post it up on here or post it other places if I really love it.
Hope to see you guys and gals next time on,
P.S. if anyone ever was tickled enough to make a theme song for this I will give credit. xD Either that or I’m going to make my own and that might be a bit scary. =/
